WELCOME to All Saints Church, Woodham

We are a liturgically-rich church and we place a significant emphasis on the word, the sacraments, and liturgy. We aim to be inclusive to all and love one another.  We are a member of the Church of England, in the Diocese of Guildford.

Tuesday     10:30 Mass with songs from Taize

 

Receiving Communion or Blessing

If you are in good standing with your own church, you are very welcome to receive with us.  If you wish to have a blessing, please come forward and keep your head bowed and the priest will give you a blessing.  We encourage all in church to come for communion or a blessing. 

 

We use the Common Cup.  You may receive by intinction if you wish to. We have gluten free wafers on request.

WOKING PEOPLE OF FAITH

Their next fundraising event is a Beetle Drive next Saturday 13th July at 6pm, at the Trinity Methodist Church, Brewery Road, Woking, GU21 4LH. If you have never played a Beetle Drive before, it is great fun and very simple – no special skills are needed. With a shake of a dice a beetle is drawn and the winner will be the one who completes the most Beetles. They will be serving vegetarian pizza and soft drinks.  Suggested donations are minimum £5 per head. Please email: administrator@wpof.org.uk to reserve your place for catering purposes or if you have any dietary requirements, i.e. vegan or gluten free.
 

AUGUST SERVICE CHANGES

Thursday 15th August – Mass for the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 10:30am (replacing Tuesday’s Mass with Taize)

 

Sunday 18th August –

8am Said Mass at All Saints

10am Joint Mass at St Mary’s Thorpe for their Patronal Festival (NO 10am Mass at All Saints). Lift shares are available, if required. Please contact the Parish Office.

 

HARVEST FESTIVAL & PARISH BBQ

This year we will celebrate Harvest on

Sunday 1st September.  There will be a Parish Barbecue lunch after mass on this day.  We would be grateful for donations of salads and/or desserts, and we do need to know numbers for catering, so please kindly put your name on the list in the Narthex of you are able to join us and if you are able to bring a salad or dessert.

  

LEADING INTERCESSORY PRAYER

Do you currently lead intercessions but would value an intercessions refresher workshop?  Are you interested in leading intercessions but would like to know more?  If so, you are warmly invited to the 'Leading Intercessory Prayer' workshop in September. You may attend either morning or evening or a combination of both.  

Tuesday 3rd and 10th September 11.30am  to 12.30pm.  

(followed by a bring and share lunch)

Wednesday 4th and 11th September 7pm - 8pm.  

Please sign up on the form in the Narthex. 

 

CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED

We will be running a Christianity Explored Course for 7 weeks every Thursday at 7pm from 12th September through to 24th October 2024.    Those wishing to come along should sign up in August.  This is open to all but, those wishing to be confirmed by Bishop Paul, here on the 3rd November, are asked to attend as their preparation.   More details if required, from Fr Roland or the Parish Office.

Sunday 3rd November 10am All Saints Day Patronal Mass with Confirmation by Bishop of Dorking, Rt Revd Paul Davies.
