DATES FOR THE DIARY & INFORMATION
PARISH OFFICE CLOSURE
The Parish Administrator is on holiday from Tues 23rd April. The church office will therefore be shut and will re-open on her return on Monday 13th May. Emails will however be monitored and replied to as necessary, although there may be a delay. For any urgent enquiries/issues please contact Fr Roland (contact details on front sheet).
THY KINGDOM COME 2024
It is the tradition of the church that during the 10-day period from Ascension Day (Thursday 9th May 24) and while we await the coming of Pentecost (Sunday 19th May 24) we share a Novena of Prayer (9 Days of Prayer) often called “Thy Kingdom Come”. We will be setting up prayer stations in the form of posters especially designed for the novena. These are similar to the Stations of the Cross found around the church. To keep this novena as a church, at 6pm every day from Thursday 9th May until Saturday 18th May, we will be saying the Rosary and other prayers at each daily prayer station for approximately 15 minutes. You do not have to pray the Rosary (or you may want to learn it with us) but simply come along and pray.
If you are unable to join us at 6pm each day, please feel free to wander around the prayer stations at any time the church is open (see the website for details) and pray privately. If you have any questions, please contact the Parish Office or Fr Roland.
